Tanning pre-care and post-care

This is our 5-step pre-care and post-care guide so you're prepared before your visit in Pineapple Sun Norwich.

1 | PREP YOUR SKIN ✨

Always exfoliate your skin the night or morning before your sunbed, continue to do this at least once or twice a week. This will remove any dead or dry skin cells which will allow you to tan better and also last longer. Your skin will also be super glowy!

2 | STAY HYDRATED 💦

Drink plenty of water before, during and after your sunbed session! We need up to 2.7L (for women) a day and 3.7L (for men) daily, and when you sunbed you will SWEAT a lot of water out, make sure you’re replacing it and staying hydrated.

3 | PROTECT YOUR EYES 👀

Even with eyes closed the UV rays still penetrate through, you’re more at risk of UV damage if you don’t wear goggles, so please protect your eyes and use our goggles provided!

4 | TANNING CREAMS 🍍

Purchase a professional tanning accelerator- this will help you maintain the deepest and darkest tan your body will allow, helping to speed up the tanning process! Also helping your skin to stay hydrated which will help your tan to last longer. Bronzers and tingles work twice as fast as other accelerators.

5 | MOISTURISE 🤩

Moisturise your skin at every chance you get! And DO NOT shower for 4 hours after your sunbed. This allows your tan and creams to continue to develop before washing off.
